Your baby is learning now
Play with your baby and hit the spoon on the pot and make noises, as loud as possible. This will be exceptionally fun for your child. The first homemade music also shows him that it can actually achieve an impressive effect with its actions. Clapping their hands and waving goodbye are now the skilful motor skills of your baby. Your child may be able to sit up now but others may still be crawling, all this depends on the individual development of your child. Give your child the opportunity to do it themselves at their own time and pace as their muscles must be trained for it to do so properly.
Safety for your child
As your baby expands its range of motion, the protection it requires will increase. Check the child safety of your apartment. Things ranging from potting soil, houseplants and anything small that can fit into the mouth of your child should be kept aside. Stairs could also be a source of danger to your baby.
Our AptaAdvantage Tip
From sitting down to pulling himself up on a chair or table, your baby will need these two things: time and patience. Do not support your child when it attempts to do things like sitting down or standing up as this will only do more harm than help to the development of the muscles of the child as it takes even longer for your child to do this alone without the help of another.
