Your pot belly is bulging now and standing is getting increasingly tough, you may consider elevating your feet up high.

Your Baby

There is less room in your womb; therefore sleeping is the favourite activity of your baby as it can also gather strength to prepare for birth. The head now takes up a quarter of the body weight. Your baby will start producing the hormone cortisol to prepare the lungs on the first breath. Your baby is 49 centimetres, with the weight of about 2.9 kilograms now.

If your baby is born, you will have little time and desire for anything else. This applies to cooking too, so do take precautions and freeze several meals in portions as this will save you a lot of work later. We will recommend assorted vegetables such as cabbage, onions, garlic, leeks, lentils, beans, radish and sprouts as examples of vegetables to cook.
